The test dividers have truly been a lifesaver. They provide my students with a quiet, safe space during tests and independent work time, which has greatly improved focus and confidence.\r\n\r\nThe storage containers have also made a huge difference in student organization. My students love having their own containers to keep in their cubbies. It makes it so much easier for them to manage their materials, and it helps keep our classroom neat and organized. A cleaner space has contributed to a more structured and productive learning environment.\r\n\r\nOn a personal note, I absolutely love the organizer! It's made prepping for my week so much smoother. I can easily separate materials for my math and social studies classes and grab what I need each day with minimal hassle. It has been a game-changer for managing two different groups of students.\r\n\r\nWe will continue using these materials throughout the school year to help maintain a supportive, efficient, and safe classroom. When you funded my project to buy privacy dividers for my 5th grade classroom, you allowed my 30 students, who had been through a very difficult year, to stay in the comfort and familiarity of my classroom for state testing.\r\n\r\nLast school year began with significantly fewer students in each classroom. After only three months of school, one of my partner teachers suffered a tragic loss in her family and was no longer able to teach. The uncertain timeline of her possible eventual return along with other factors in the building led to the decision not to hire a replacement teacher and instead to divide the now teacher-less class among the remaining four classrooms.\r\n\r\nAs the year progressed and state testing approached, we knew two facts. My partner teacher would not be returning, and we did not have enough space in my classroom to meet the distance requirements between students for all 30 of my students to stay with me for testing. The options at that point were limited. I either needed to divide my class and send some students to other rooms for testing or I needed privacy dividers.\r\n\r\nYour gracious funding of the dividers allowed me to provide my steady presence and a familiar setting for all of my students! Additionally, my new class this year, which is also large, has already benefitted from the privacy dividers. Due to the quality of the dividers, they will certainly continue to benefit my classes for many years to come. Each time I use them, I will remember with heartfelt gratitude the help you provided me in a time of great need!","fullyFundedDate":1744032828449,"projectUrl":"project/testing-privacy-dividers/9203922/","projectTitle":"Testing Privacy Dividers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Dunckhorst","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9974377"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_42262","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":668,"numTeachers":30,"percentFrplEligible":67,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":8,"percentWhite":41,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":32,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"22.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":68.9,"schoolId":42262,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mesa Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mesa Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/fountain-fort-carson-sd-8/mesa-elementary-school/42262"}
