It's amazing to watch their communication skills grow. \r\nWith the Peg Number Boards, my students were eagerly practicing one-to-one correspondence and number recognition, and it's been great to see their confidence grow as they fill each peg space with pride. We're building a great foundation around basic number sense. \r\nThe Giant Alphabet Beads have become a hit in our fine motor center, where students string letter patterns and even spell their names—one child exclaimed, \"It's like making a necklace of letters!\" These hands-on tools have truly brought learning to life in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1723162314058,"projectUrl":"project/legacy-point-rock-stars/8567334/","projectTitle":"Legacy Point Rock Stars","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lintelmann","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9220481"},{"teacherId":9226203,"projectId":8904800,"letterContent":"This project has made a huge impact on my students! Through this project, they have not only explored the challenging world of three-dimensional art but also gained other crucial benefits. \r\n\r\n1. Students have learned how to safely use tools like hot glue guns and cardboard cutters.\r\n\r\n2. Students have developed gross and fine motor skills that are often underdeveloped in our current digital/hands-off world.\r\n\r\n3. Moving beyond the limitations of two-dimensional shapes, students have gained an understanding of structural integrity. They learned how to build with slotting and notching techniques and to reinforce with things like L-braces, corner braces, gussets, tabs, and flanges.\r\n\r\n4. Tools like cardboard cutters and hot glue guns empowered students:\r\n - Cardboard cutters gave students control over their designs because they could \r\n create the shapes and sizes of cardboard that they wanted. \r\n - Hot glue guns allowed students to build strong and intricate structures that \r\n would be impossible to achieve with traditional adhesives like tape or glue.\r\n\r\nStudents have been incredibly enthusiastic about using these tools because they open up a whole new dimension of possibilities for them.","fullyFundedDate":1723159738394,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-structural-shazam/8564631/","projectTitle":"Sensory & Structural SHAZAM!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Long","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9251709"},{"teacherId":9631016,"projectId":8569318,"letterContent":"Certainly!
