Your contributions have made a significant impact on my students' learning experiences, and I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks!\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students have been actively engaging in improving their writing! The workbook resources have invited our emergent writers to explore and play with the conventions of language, fostering their creativity and nurturing their love for writing.\r\n\r\nThe laminator has also been a fantastic addition to our classroom. I've been using it for reading, writing, and math fluency drills, ensuring that our learning materials are durable and can be reused throughout the year, which has made a noticeable difference in our students' engagement and understanding.\r\n\r\nThe kids all love the NeeDoh sensory toys, and they helped them focus and manage their energy during lessons. The Fact Family Boards have been instrumental in reinforcing math concepts, allowing students to visualize and understand relationships between numbers.\r\n\r\nLastly, the fun writing pens have made writing exciting for our students, encouraging them to express their thoughts in a slightly more exciting way.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly transformed our classroom environment, and I cannot thank you enough for believing in the students and their potential. I'm excited to continue using these resources to inspire and educate our young learners.","fullyFundedDate":1739806997214,"projectUrl":"project/writers-workshop-and-focus/8894137/","projectTitle":"Writer's Workshop and Focus","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jaime","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9224058_orig.jpg?crop=2511,2510,x0,y50&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1729562033654","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9224058"},{"teacherId":9630272,"projectId":8566409,"letterContent":"Every day, my students have a designated reading time. During this time, students are supposed to bring their own book from home or from our school library. Oftentimes though, students would show up for class without a book. I had a few very old titles that I had found at yard and garage sales to offer, but none were very interesting to them.\r\n\r\nThankfully, I now have a selection of diverse, interesting, new, engaging books to direct them to. I have had students ask if they could borrow the book and take it home so they can continue to read it. More specifically, we are examining how atoms arrange and rearrange all while following the law of conservation of mass. \r\n\r\nAs an 8th grade class, the concept of chemical formulas are introduced. Identifying what the subscripts, coefficients, and letter represent in a chemical formula and further in a chemical equation, reactants and products, is challenging. These kits help students model what is happening chemically on a larger scale, in a more concrete hands-on activity. Essentially allowing students to visualize atoms, how they make up molecules, and rearrange to form other molecules. This conceptual representation is crucial to help students grow in understanding these small scale concepts. \r\n\r\nThank you for giving PRA's 8th grade science class a wonderful tool, these chemical modeling kits, to build a basic foundation of chemistry.","fullyFundedDate":1724425581840,"projectUrl":"project/chemical-reactions-total-mass-remains-t/8589576/","projectTitle":"Chemical Reactions: Total Mass Remains The Same","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Naujock","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9258682"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_101814","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1478,"numTeachers":72,"percentFrplEligible":8,"percentAsian":13,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":65,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":13,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"20.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":87.0,"schoolId":101814,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Prospect Ridge Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Prospect Ridge Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/adams-12-five-star-schools/prospect-ridge-academy/101814"}
