Because of you, my Spanish students now have access to engaging books, fun games, and small fidget toy prizes that make learning both exciting and rewarding. You have also helped me display the themes and units that we will be exploring in my AP Spanish Literature class, the first time it's been offered in my district this year!\r\n\r\nYour contributions have created a classroom environment where students feel motivated, supported, and eager to participate. The books are sparking new curiosity about language and culture, the games are turning cultural practice into play, and the prizes are encouraging students to stay focused and celebrate their progress (and saving their families from lots of dental bills from distributing candy as prizes and giving them cavities!).\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, it is truly inspiring to see how your kindness and generosity directly impact my students' joy for learning. Thank you for believing in them and for helping me create a classroom that is not only a place of education, but also of discovery, encouragement, and community.","fullyFundedDate":1746785912349,"projectUrl":"project/language-cultural-and-engaging-immersi/9161007/","projectTitle":"Language, Cultural, and Engaging Immersion in the Spanish Classroom.","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Moreno","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9236215_orig.jpg?crop=2400,2400,x0,y200&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1696441173506","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9236215"},{"teacherId":9222868,"projectId":9126929,"letterContent":"I wanted to take some time to thank you and describe the impact of your donation.\r\n\r\nAt the time I put in the request, I was struggling to get the resources I needed for my students. One activity that is successful in my class is using individual white boards to practice. I kept asking my school for more white board markers at the time, and I would receive a few markers at a time. For a teacher with 100+ students, this was simply not going to cut it. We were also using tissues or pieces of paper towels to erase the boards. I felt like I might have to give up doing that activity with my students. When we would go to do white board practice, students would constantly come up to me and say, this one is dried out. \r\n\r\nWith your order, I received a substantial amount of white board markers and proper erasers. My students were excited to use fresh markers and not the old dry ones. My students also appreciated the nice mechanical pencils as a prize option instead of candy. Not all students can have or want an edible treat, and often their pencil supply is depleted by the end of the year. \r\n\r\nI still have some left over supplies for this new school year as well. I look forward to using them again!\r\n\r\nThank you again for your gratitude, and I hope that you will continue to support our schools.","fullyFundedDate":1741374950010,"projectUrl":"project/white-board-markers-for-math-practice/9126929/","projectTitle":"White Board Markers for Math Practice","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lawhon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9222868"},{"teacherId":8059982,"projectId":8864888,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation to the Deaf Culture and Community project.
