The word is spreading among students that there is a comfortable place on campus to de-stress during nutrition and lunch. The students have been overjoyed to have bean bag chairs to simply lounge in when needed. Their initial reaction to the chairs, therapy putty, and calming stickers was \"Miss! Where did you get all this?!\" \r\n\r\nThe teen workbooks to help with trauma, social anxiety and self regulation skills have been great counseling resources that the students seem to enjoy thus far. My goal is to continue building the toolboxes for our special education students to empower them. It has helped so much to have a safe space for our students.
