It has made a positive impact for my students. I have been able to create durable learning materials to help support student learning and engagement. One of the main things we learn in third grade are multiplication facts. I have made a variety of math games to help my students learn their facts. The games are interactive, which also teaches students social skills. They are more engaged and are having fun as they learn.\r\n\r\n I have also laminated materials to help the class learn sign language as one of the students has a hearing loss. She is teaching the class sign language, which has given her the opportunity to increase her confidence and help the students understand that differences are also strengths and they make us unique. \r\n\r\n The laminator has become an essential teaching tool, which has increased learning and engagement. The students dove right in, eager to read. We had so much fun looking at all the new titles and discussing the features of a mystery book and why they made good reading. Then when we shopped for books, the Mystery Book Box was the first stop for all the readers. Baby Monkey Private Eye was the most coveted. \r\n It is so important for growing readers to have lots of different genres to choose from to challenge them as readers. Different styles of writing expose readers to different plots, vocabulary, and concepts. Your thoughtful contribution has made a lasting impact on my students, opening up new doors of curiosity, knowledge, and exploration.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the books, my students have been eagerly diving into the world of facts, science, history, and culture. They've been inspired to ask questions, seek out new information, and engage in discussions that are enriching both their minds and hearts. The nonfiction texts you provided have helped expand their understanding of the world around them, giving them the tools to think critically and learn independently.\r\n\r\nThe variety of topics—from animals and outer space to famous historical figures—has sparked a renewed excitement for reading and learning. It has also motivated students to read more. It's wonderful to see how much they're enjoying the process of exploring new ideas and facts, and it's all thanks to your generosity.\r\n\r\nYour donation goes beyond just the books themselves; it's a gift that encourages lifelong learning, curiosity, and the development of important skills like reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking.
