Students immediately started trying them on and practicing new sideline routines—smiles and laughter filled the gym. For many of our athletes, this was the very first time they had their own matching gear to proudly represent Guajome.\r\n\r\nThe new bows and poms are now a part of every practice and game. Students use them to bring energy and spirit to school events, while also learning teamwork, leadership, and performance skills. One special moment came during our first pep rally of the year: the team's confidence soared as they performed in front of the entire student body, unified by their new cheer gear.\r\n\r\nThe next step for our program is preparing for upcoming home games, where students will lead the crowd in cheers and spirit routines using their new poms and bows. Having these materials has not only boosted morale, but also given our cheerleaders the tools to continue building school spirit, confidence, and pride throughout the season.","fullyFundedDate":1749235755879,"projectUrl":"project/cheer-spirit-gear-for-underserved-studen/9307288/","projectTitle":"Cheer Spirit Gear for Underserved Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Adrina Itzaina","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10010892_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y70&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1747264263155","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10010892"},{"teacherId":2015682,"projectId":9219912,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donations of dry erase markers, erasers, and privacy boards. The privacy boards have helped create a calm and focused environment for each student, giving them the personal space they need to concentrate and feel confident during testing and independent work.\r\n\r\nThe dry erase markers and erasers have been a game-changer during our review sessions. We recently completed a math review \"game show\" activity where students solved problems on their whiteboards and held up their answers. The energy in the room was electric! The markers allowed for quick engagement and instant feedback, and the students loved the chance to actively participate in such a fun and interactive way.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new supplies, their eyes lit up. Many of them commented on how \"official\" and \"grown-up\" the privacy boards made them feel, and they were excited to use the brand-new markers.
