We have so much fun with these whiteboards, markers and erasers. Students are able to enjoy fun random questions as a bell ringer that help them to explore thoughts they might not have had, such as what do you want to be after high school, what is your favorite activity, or if you could have any animal as a pet what would it be? It has also given them opportunities to delve deeper into thoughts about their own mental health, such as what do you like best about yourself, what is a quality you value in a friend, or what is something good or positive that happened this week? It has also allowed them to be creative with questions/prompts such as draw a dog, draw your favorite snack or draw a snowman without looking.\r\n\r\nWe have a lot of fun with these questions. In addition to fun questions, we also use them for students to answer review questions. This has helped bring some more quiet students out of their shell and offer them a chance to participate in their own way. For some, this has encouraged them to laugh more and talk with their nearby partners. Thank you for all that you have done for our classroom. I am incredibly grateful for your kindness, your donation has truly made a meaningful difference for both my students and me. Having a printer in the classroom has been a game changer. It allows me to quickly print out materials in the moment, whether it's a last-minute worksheet, updated grades, or visuals to support a lesson. My students especially enjoy when I print out in-class photos for their projects or vibrant images of tourist attractions from around the world, sparking curiosity and excitement about places they've never seen.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting additions to our classroom, is with a large printed map (the map is bought) complete with strings connecting to photos of landmarks around the globe. Students can walk up to it anytime, explore the world by reading key facts, or scan QR codes to dive deeper into each location. It's become an interactive learning tool that we use during lessons and learning stations, and it never fails to capture their interest.\r\n\r\nThe printer has also made a huge difference in terms of inclusion and accessibility. I can now quickly provide materials in multiple languages for new students, create board walls, and print differentiated resources, like answers and guided notes for students with learning differences or last minute injuries that prevent them from writing. The small changes have had a big impact.\r\n\r\nThis is just the beginning. Your generosity has opened up so many doors for creativity, engagement and personalized learning in my classroom.
