Because of your donations, nearly 20 at-risk students are attending tutoring this year with the supplies they need to feel prepared and motivated to learn. Students received calendars for the 2025–2026 school year, dry erase boards, pencils, and pens, and they were absolutely thrilled. Many opened their packages immediately and began using their whiteboards during tutoring sessions, which brought an exciting and energizing start to the program.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped us build a strong and meaningful tutoring program that truly reaches students who need academic help the most. Students are being supported by both teachers and their peers in subjects they are struggling with, and the impact is already clear. Students report completing and submitting assignments on time, and many have even caught up on make-up work. In addition to group tutoring, I have also been able to provide one-on-one support to students in my classroom, allowing us to meet individual needs more closely.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, my colleagues and I will continue to ensure that students' time in after-school tutoring is purposeful and effective. We are committed to helping students strengthen the foundational academic skills they need to be successful in their core classes. None of this would be possible without your generosity. Thank you for investing in our students, believing in their potential, and helping us expand a program that is already making a meaningful difference.","fullyFundedDate":1759429725848,"projectUrl":"project/supporting-students-after-school-succes/9674445/","projectTitle":"Supporting Students' After School Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kahlon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10237506"},{"teacherId":9176463,"projectId":8647829,"letterContent":"My students and I have been enjoying and appreciating your donations. For example, the bins help keep my classroom organized and students know exactly where the supplies go. There is no more clutter! Also, the students have shown their level of understanding with laminated color circles which help me to reteach certain concepts.\r\n\r\nThe students were excited to see these new supplies added to my classroom. They see how a few improvements can make a big impact on the overall learning experience and they respect the new procedures.\r\n\r\nI will continue to utilize these donated supplies to maximize their usage for many years to come.
