My first-grade reading intervention group meets in a classroom with students from multiple grades, so our table heights must accommodate a wide range of ages and sizes. \r\n\r\nNow, with the footrests in place, my students have proper ergonomic support, and it shows. They love adjusting the height and take pride in using this tool. Their fidgeting has decreased noticeably, and they are more grounded during reading and writing tasks. One of my favorite moments was watching them walk into the room with wide eyes—they were in awe and immediately began asking questions about how the footrests worked and whether they could try them out. Their excitement was genuine and joyful.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our small-group reading lessons, these footrests will help my students stay engaged, confident, and ready to learn. This project has created a more inclusive and effective environment where every child can sit comfortably and focus on their next steps as growing readers.","fullyFundedDate":1762267518796,"projectUrl":"project/footrests-for-focus-/9868939/","projectTitle":"Footrests for Focus 👣","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Izushima","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5668283_orig.jpg?crop=371,371,x91,y160&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1763043951434","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-izushima"},{"teacherId":9119048,"projectId":9285291,"letterContent":"We were so excited to use the sensory materials in our sensory table.
