They help them stay focused on classwork and/or ease their anxiety/stress when they are nervous or anxious during tests.\r\n\r\nThe students enjoy playing with the various board and card games. The different UNO card games and LEGOs are very popular, and they love the card shuffler. Several of my students have already benefited from having access to these standing desks and absolutely love using them as often as they can.\r\n\r\nThe desks are great for students of any height since they are adjustable and can even be used as a regular desk with a chair when needed. The students love that they can easily move to whatever area in the classroom they want to work in. The locks on the wheels allow the students to lock the desks in place so that the desks don't move around as they complete their work. The students were surprised that they were able to receive the specific books they requested to have in the classroom. They are very excited to start reading their new books for Sustained Silent Reading time.\r\n\r\nThey enjoy using the dictionaries for the Dictionary Game we play every month. They like having their own book rather than sharing one with others, as the game involves racing to see who finds the word and definition first.
