By donating money for supplemental history curriculum, you have provided students with extensive support needs the ability to access the same curriculum topics as general education students at a much more challenging and robust level than the basic curriculum allows. Students are so excited to learn with all of the new hands on activities, slide shows, and visuals.\r\n\r\nWe have many students who have never taken a traditional history course before. These supplemental activities are inspiring our students to work harder and learn at higher levels than ever before. Students are now beginning to use higher level thinking and considering questions about perspective taking and the impact of even simple technology on human existence. \r\n\r\nAgain, I thank you for all of your kindness. I am so proud of my students for taking to these new experiences with positivity and eagerness. With its engaging visuals and accessible format, students have been able to better connect with the story, understand its themes, and actively participate in discussions.
