When my students first encountered the re-imagined space that included soft lighting from lamps, a table with calming fidgets and other activities (coloring books, wellness cards, weighted plushies, a zen garden, etc) as well as the soft, comfortable new seating, they were thrilled. Many students commented that being in the space was relaxing and felt more like home. Even staff members come into my office to sit in the chairs and relax for a few minutes between classes. \r\n\r\nWithout your financial contribution, this project would have been difficult to create in such a short period of time.
