Thanks to your donation, my students have had an incredible experience learning about probability in a hands-on and engaging way. Many of them had never even seen a deck of cards before, yet cards are a common tool for teaching probability. Now, with the materials you helped provide—playing cards, various-sided dice, and personal whiteboards—students have been able to explore probability concepts through interactive games and activities. These resources have truly brought the unit to life in a way that traditional lessons simply couldn't.\r\n\r\nThroughout this unit, I've watched my students become more engaged and excited about math. They have been using the cards and dice to play probability games, testing different scenarios, and applying what they've learned in a fun and meaningful way. Having these hands-on tools has not only deepened their understanding but has also made learning feel like play. The extra prizes we were able to provide have added to the excitement, making participation even more rewarding for them.\r\n\r\nAs we near the end of our probability unit, my students are thrilled to take their learning one step further by creating their own probability-based games. With the materials you provided, they have the freedom to be more creative, designing games that incorporate everything they've learned. We're eagerly looking forward to our \"Games Day,\" where they'll get to share and play each other's creations. The fidget spinners and Chill Skills games have also been invaluable tools in our individual sessions, giving students practical ways to manage stress and improve focus.\r\n\r\nThe books I received through your generosity have been instrumental in expanding my knowledge and improving my interventions in art therapy, conflict management, anxiety, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Additionally, the coloring books have been a wonderful tool for students dealing with anxiety, providing them with a creative outlet that fosters relaxation and mindfulness. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation towards our Making Math Fun Project. Thanks to your support, my students now have access to the magnetic whiteboard graph paper, expo markers, erasers, and pen holders that have truly transformed our math lessons.\r\n\r\nEvery week, my entire class gathers around the board to work through problems assigned by me. This not only allows me to provide real-time feedback as students progress but also creates an environment where mistakes are welcomed as opportunities for learning. It's such a positive and supportive atmosphere, and I can see how it's helping my students grow in both their confidence and ability.\r\n\r\nThe excitement when we first opened the supplies was palpable. My students couldn't wait to try everything out, especially the magnetic graph paper. Now, with enough supplies for the whole class to participate in boardwork at once, we incorporate it into our routine at least once a week. The enthusiasm from my students has been contagious – they are now regularly asking if they can do all their work on the board instead of paper, and I'm always happy to say yes!\r\n\r\nYour contribution has made math more engaging, interactive, and fun. The ability to give my students immediate feedback has made a significant impact on their performance, and I've already seen improvement in their math scores. More importantly, they feel more confident and motivated to continue learning.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your support. So, thank you, thank you, thank you!\r\n\r\nAll my math classes go up on the board everyday and work out math problems. With this practice, they gain the confidence to do the work on their own as the are provided with immediate feedback from me. This improves their confidence and lowers their anxiety as many students have anxiety when they do math. The expo markers really help as they do run out fast and the school doesn't provide enough to last for the year.
