The rocket kits have sparked huge excitement—students are learning about forces and motion as they assemble and prepare their rockets for launch day. The wave demonstrators and timers have helped make our labs more accurate and hands-on, while the ENGINO kits have allowed students to design bridges, understand Newton's laws, and experiment with real engineering challenges.\r\n\r\nThese resources will continue to support upcoming projects in engineering, motion, and energy, giving students meaningful, memorable, and engaging STEM experiences. The energy balls have been a huge hit—students immediately formed circles to test conductivity, laughing and experimenting as the balls lit up and buzzed.\r\n\r\nNext, students will use all three materials in a rotating lab activity to explore forces, waves, and energy transfer. Our students have already been using the pendulum kits, Newton's Cradles, gyroscope, and hover-orb drones in our motion and energy unit, and they've completely changed the way students experience science.\r\n\r\nWhen we first opened the boxes, the class lit up. Students immediately gathered around the Newton's Cradles to test momentum transfer and took turns spinning the heavy-duty gyroscope to see how it stayed balanced. The hover-orb drones were a huge hit—they sparked laughter, curiosity, and lots of questions about forces and motion even before the lesson officially began.\r\n\r\nThese tools have helped students move from simply reading about physics concepts to observing them firsthand. It was such a wonderful moment to witness, and it reminded me how much small, meaningful things can brighten their day.\r\n\r\nAlthough we don't use the games every day, they've become a special part of our classroom routine. Whenever we bring them out, it creates a chance for the students to unwind, connect with each other, and take a break from the stress that school can sometimes bring. I've loved seeing them work together, cheer for one another, and build stronger relationships through play. These moments have truly made our classroom community feel even closer.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity. We've incorporated them into hands-on labs, small-group activities, and independent practice—and every day they open new doors for students who are hungry to explore.\r\n\r\nYour support didn't just supply materials—it sparked curiosity. Students who were usually quiet became leaders during group tasks. Others who often feel discouraged lit up when the new tools helped them finally grasp a concept that had been challenging. During a recent lesson, students compared the two models and then calculated their own body composition estimates, applying what they learned to set realistic fitness goals.\r\n\r\nThese resources have made our lessons so much more hands-on and engaging. Students can now visualize the concepts we talk about, rather than just reading about them. The colorful pens, markers, and paper instantly drew them in, and they couldn't wait to start using everything. It was such a joy to see how something as simple as fresh materials could spark so much energy and creativity in the classroom.\r\n\r\nOne of the first projects we completed with these supplies was an artistic rendition of the unit circle. Students worked in small groups to design vibrant and accurate representations, labeling angles and coordinates while adding their own creative flair. Some groups used color-coding to highlight special angles, while others illustrated real-world connections to trigonometry. It was incredible to watch math and art blend together so seamlessly.\r\n\r\nOur next steps will build on this momentum as we explore trigonometric functions more deeply. Students will use their unit circle designs to support graphing activities, problem-solving, and group presentations.
