This technology has provided me with the freedom to move around the room while still effectively interacting with my lessons. By using the wireless tablet, I no longer have to remain tethered to the front of the classroom or to a document camera, allowing me to engage with students individually or in small groups, wherever they are. This has led to a more dynamic and interactive learning environment.\r\n The ability to walk around the room with the ELMO CRA-2 Wireless Tablet has enabled me to be closer to my students, fostering stronger connections and offering immediate support when needed. I can circulate during lessons, provide on-the-spot feedback, and address questions in real time without disrupting the flow of the class. This mobility has helped me establish a more approachable presence, where students feel comfortable reaching out and actively participating, knowing that I am close by and they do not have to speak loudly to the group, and I can respond to their inquiries from anywhere in the room.\r\n Additionally, the wireless tablet has allowed me to teach more effectively by making the content more engaging and interactive. Its wireless capabilities allow me to annotate directly onto digital materials, present ideas seamlessly, and adapt my lessons on the fly. This level of flexibility ensures that I can adjust my teaching methods to meet the needs of the students, making the classroom experience more personalized and inclusive. Overall, the ELMO CRA-2 has given me the freedom to be a more responsive and effective educator to students who need it the most in our alternative high school setting.\r\n Thank you so much for your generosity and the impact it is having on my students and their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1718195747206,"projectUrl":"project/enabling-teacher-proximity-in-an-alterna/8445481/","projectTitle":"Enabling Teacher Proximity in an Alternative Setting Through Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Guminiak","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6540097_orig.jpg?crop=865,865,x0,y25&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1567439540479","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6540097"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_32713","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":238,"numTeachers":11,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":8,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":82,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"10 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"21.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":66.7,"schoolId":32713,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mountain View High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mountain View High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/san-jacinto-unified-school-district/mountain-view-high-school/32713"}
