My students and I are so grateful for all of the items we received. Specifically, the main goal of my project was to help my classroom develop strong literacy centers/stations so that I can successfully run small groups to help my students who are below grade level in reading.\r\n The rolling cart has been one of the most helpful donations as it has many different drawers so that I can put differentiated worksheets in them. My students know which drawer to get their assignment from without having to draw attention to whether they are getting a modified assignment or not. My students have also been LOVING the cushions. They know that during reading time, they can grab a cushion to sit or lay on the floor so that they can comfortably read or listen to my read-alouds. Getting to use the cushions has amplified their excitement for reading time. The half composition books have also been an amazing help to my students' literacy. We use the journals for vocabulary because the half sized pages are perfect for vocabulary words. We know how important vocabulary is for overall literacy, so this has been very helpful during our reading block (plus my students love how small and \"adorable\" the journals are). As a community with a high population of low income families, these donations mean so much to me and our classroom as my only goal is to help my students improve and build a love for learning. Thank you so much for helping this project come to life.","fullyFundedDate":1758410942665,"projectUrl":"project/building-a-love-for-reading/9709087/","projectTitle":"Building A Love For Reading!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bitticks","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10257197"},{"teacherId":9921584,"projectId":9109428,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, we've been able to keep Hilda's Closet fully stocked over the past few months with essential toiletries for our families in need.
