Because of your donations, I was able to grow my class library of beginner readers. \r\nWith the quantity and variety of books that are in the classroom now, my students are able to complete free reading twice a week in class. Each table group has a box of Spanish readers written just for beginner language learners at their disposal. Because of the variety, all students are able to find a book that suites their tastes whether it be fantasy, drama, adventure, comic, and even historical fiction. \r\nAs we finish the semester, their weekly reading has made them comfortable enough to tackle a class novel. Students dove into the reading, feeling confident in their abilities because of the practice they have had in their free reading sessions. \r\nI am excited to start the second semester and increase their exposure to reading for pleasure in our Spanish classroom.
