We are able to use it to engage in letter, counting, and sensory activities. It allows for a whole group to be able to work along side each other to share ideas and get help. Before the unveiling students were asking if it was a trampoline, but were just as excited to find out that we had a new space where they could do our \"messier\" activities. They loved the mirror insert for the table as they used it with their foam shapes.\r\n Right now we are using our table with playdough and letter sound practice, which my students really enjoy. That is the most popular independent center. I like to change the activities based on what we are currently learning. This keeps students engaged and practicing the new skills. I notice that my students are picking up their letter sounds more quickly, which is exactly what we want to do. This will help them set the foundations for success in their reading and writing. \r\n I have exciting future plans with our sensory table, such as making snow, painting projects, and using rice as a sensory element to hide objects, numbers, or letters to help them learn counting amounts, sounds, and identifying. The new STEM toys and games have become an instant favorite during our device-free collaboration time. Students gravitate toward the magnet blocks and Magna-Tiles, building towering structures, experimenting with balance, and working together to figure out how to make their designs stronger. These materials have turned our classroom into a space where students learn through exploration and discovery—skills that carry over into every subject.\r\n\r\nOne of the most memorable moments was our \"unboxing\" day. Each time we opened a new item—whether it was the Tapple game, the memory game, or the bracelet-making materials—the excitement in the room was contagious. Students cheered, laughed, and immediately started brainstorming how they could use each new tool. Watching them dive right in, collaborate, and teach each other was pure joy.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, we can keep expanding these collaboration stations. Students will soon begin using the materials not just for free exploration but also for small group STEM challenges and creative projects. I no longer have to pause or postpone lessons while I gather materials, which means science is finally a regular and exciting part of our routine.\r\nOne of the best moments came during our unit on energy and energy transfer. They immediately got to work building tracks, testing ideas, and explaining to each other how the marble's movement showed energy being transferred.
