With the new math manipulatives, such as magnetic fraction circles, clocks, and coordinate grids, my freshmen are now able to visualize abstract concepts more clearly. These tools have already made a difference during lessons when students struggle to grasp the material at first because having hands-on resources allows me to guide them toward understanding in a more interactive way. The practical items, like pencils, tissues, and Clorox disinfecting wipes, are also a huge blessing. With flu season around the corner, I feel more at ease knowing that I can help keep my classroom a healthier space for both myself and my students.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were genuinely excited and eager to try them out. Many expressed how happy they were to have access to more learning tools in the classroom, and I noticed their enthusiasm right away when we began using the manipulatives in small group activities. The supplies have created a more engaging, supportive, and cleaner classroom environment, and I cannot thank you enough for helping me provide this for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1757019375846,"projectUrl":"project/making-math-meaningful-in-special-educat/9349347/","projectTitle":"Making Math Meaningful in Special Education Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kimbell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8541860_orig.jpg?crop=2042,2042,x887,y497&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1661028003324","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8541860"},{"teacherId":4372255,"projectId":9307823,"letterContent":"We are so grateful for your generous donation of classroom supplies—your kindness is already making a meaningful difference in our students' daily learning experiences.\r\n\r\nOne highlight has been the extra-wide grip pencils—they've been a huge hit with reluctant writers! These pencils are not only easier to hold, but they're also helping students write longer without getting tired hands. It's incredible to see how the right tools can make such a big impact.\r\n\r\nStudents are also working hard on their classroom behavior, and your donation has helped us with a fun incentive system using water bottle stickers. Students are excited to earn stickers for positive actions, and it's been a wonderful motivator to reinforce attention and focus.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our students feel seen, supported, and empowered.
