It is difficult to describe in words. The materials and supplies you have purchased for us have allowed my students to learn in new ways. The playhouse toys have created new \"house activities\" for them to pretend play; they especially love the cash register and condiments (mustard, ketchup and hot sauce!) \r\n\r\nThe chart stand, pocket charts, and magnetic draw and write page have increased practice for sight words, and almost every single student has raised their knowledge of sight words. The smaller desktop pocket chart has been implemented for small group intervention and the students love being more hands-on! The ten frames, dino counters, ice cream chain links, and write and wipe whiteboards are also used for intervention and have established a much stronger understanding of number sense and one-to-one correspondence when counting. \r\n\r\nThe headphones have created a much quieter learning environment during computer learning time. Because every single student has a set of headphones, six of my students have completed all kindergarten reading levels on their LEXIA program and are now working above grade level in 1st grade lessons! Unbelievable! I am SUCH a proud teacher! \r\n\r\nEach time I open a new box or package, the kiddos faces light up like its Christmas all over again. They are so excited every time I bring something new to teach and play with.
