Your support has made an incredible difference in our classroom, and I'd love to share the impact it has had on my students.\r\nSince receiving the materials, our classroom has transformed into a more functional, creative, and student-centered STEM environment. The new lockable storage cabinet and organizational trays have brought structure and clarity to our workspace. Students now take pride in accessing, managing, and returning materials independently. This sense of ownership has not only kept our classroom tidy, but it has also strengthened their responsibility and confidence.\r\nThe STEM tools, dry erase markers, pencil grips, and sensory items have made hands-on learning more engaging and accessible for all learners. Students who once hesitated to participate are now eager to explore and experiment. The sensory and fidget tools have helped many of my students focus during complex tasks, while the engineering toys have become a favorite during STEM challenges. It has been inspiring to watch them collaborate, problem-solve, and think critically with excitement and curiosity.\r\nMost importantly, these resources have opened doors to STEM exploration that many students may not have otherwise experienced. They are building early skills in engineering, design, and planning, and several students have even expressed new interests in STEM careers. Every day, I see the positive impact of your contribution—students are more engaged, more organized, and more motivated to learn.\r\nThank you for helping create a learning environment where students can thrive. Your support has not only improved our classroom but has also sparked a lasting love for STEM in my students. We are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1759141283434,"projectUrl":"project/organized-stem-exploration-tools-stor/9744485/","projectTitle":"Organized STEM Exploration: Tools & Storage to Empower Hands-On Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Newman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/newman16"},{"teacherId":3697419,"projectId":9522842,"letterContent":"During small group work where myself and my aides focus on small groups of students with similar needs and goals we need the other students to be engaged in meaningful work that keeps them quiet. Much of our online work reads text aloud, or has a supporting video and it can get quite noisy in the class. Having headphones focus the student to his/her work and helps keep the room quiet for those working with teachers.\r\n\r\nThe comfortable headphones provided by your generous donations fits this need perfectly. They are colorful, comfy and fold down to fit in the student's file box. They work much better than ear buds. We use these during our group work for English Language Arts and reading comprehension lessons as well as for our math groups. \r\n\r\nAn added bonus of headphones is that they help students who are sitting close focus on their own work. They are all at different levels is their learning so a less likely to be distracted from a student working on something else next to them. They are also less likely to talk to their classmates with the headphones on. We are all very content with the situation.","fullyFundedDate":1755732334310,"projectUrl":"project/comfortable-focused-listening-and-learn/9522842/","projectTitle":"Comfortable, Focused Listening and Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kennedy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3697419_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1469502251456","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-jkennedy"},{"teacherId":6809117,"projectId":9033349,"letterContent":"I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our tile mosaic art project. Your contributions have transformed our classroom into a vibrant hub of creativity and collaboration. Recently, we began our first mosaic project, where students designed their own patterns and learned how to cut and assemble tiles. Watching them immerse themselves in the process was truly inspiring. They were excited to express their unique artistic visions, and I saw their confidence grow as they manipulated the materials, experimenting with colors and shapes. \r\n\r\nWhen the students first encountered the new resources—tiles of various colors, textures, and tools for assembly—their reactions were nothing short of magical. Their eyes lit up with curiosity and excitement; they immediately began brainstorming ideas for their designs. One student exclaimed, \"This is going to be the best project ever!\" Moments like these remind me of the powerful impact that creative resources can have on student engagement and enthusiasm.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to continue working on our mosaics, culminating in an exhibition at our non-profit student gallery and a special showcase during our Open House. The students will not only display their work but also share their creative processes and stories behind their designs with families and community members. This project is helping them build essential skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and artistic expression, while also fostering a strong sense of pride and accomplishment.
