This oven and baking supplies are allowing our 3rd graders to truly learn and apply everything about measurement... and much more math as well! \r\nThe oven has already been such an amazing asset in our classroom. We have already learned how to measure, read and follow directions, and how to read and write fractions from it. Later we will be able to do operations with fractions as we resize our recipes, too!\r\nAnd, the baking cups and muffin tins have been perfect for eating as well as sharing our recipes.\r\nThis oven has brought so many unexpected benefits to our classroom, as well. Families are sharing special recipes, students are trying new foods for the first time, and soon we will be able to cook using foods grown in our newly planted garden!\r\nI am so grateful to have this amazing tool in our classroom. I look forward to using it with students to learn and practice math skills as we cook seasonal and local foods together for many years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1755874693473,"projectUrl":"project/math-tastes-great-measuring-and-cooking/9448923/","projectTitle":"Math Tastes Great! Our lessons are so much better now that everyone can see everything I'm doing as I'm doing it! No more trying to tip our old podium stand forward so everyone could see! Writing, drawing and more is so much more successful for everyone now that everyone can see clearly while it's being modeled. \r\nIn fact, they were so excited when we received the boxes with the stand inside that they spent their free time assembling it! Everyone wanted to help because they were so thrilled to finally be able to see everything!\r\nNow, we are constantly finding new reasons to love our adjustable stand, too! It will adjust all the way to flat to hold our supplies for a project, it can easily wheel around to new spots in the room, and it can spin around to allow me to read from my notes or a text when needed.
