The students are absolutely loving them! I was only able to capture a picture of a few of the books on display because most were already checked out within days of arriving.\r\n\r\nStudents have even been coming up to me with the books in hand, pointing to the titles shown on the back covers, and asking if we might get those too. It's wonderful to see their excitement and curiosity grow as they discover new topics and authors.\r\n\r\nThis infusion of newer, more relevant titles was something our library truly needed. Your support has not only refreshed our shelves but also inspired our students and introduced them to topics that are very interesting to them.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of our students and staff, thank you again for your generosity. They also got excited about the birthdays stickers I got. When it was their birthday, I gave them ahappy birthday sticker and a bracelet.\r\n\r\nAs we are getting closer to the end of the year, I am planing to have more fun activities. Next week we are going outside the classroom to read, instead of reading in the classroom as we usually do. I will provide the students with a bookmark and a floor cushion I got from donors choose. I told my students about this activity and they are very excited to go outside the classroom and read. I am sure is going to be a lot of fun and a great experience thanks to your donation. I really appreciate every single one item you donated. It really made a great impact in my class inspiring them to try their best at any classrom activity.","fullyFundedDate":1742338422827,"projectUrl":"project/fun-rewards-for-hard-working-and-achievi/9157731/","projectTitle":"Fun Rewards for Hard Working and Achieving Students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ante","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9966916"},{"teacherId":9816836,"projectId":8908941,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for opening your hearts to contribute to making our library to make it a great space for kids to learn and hang out to read books.\r\n\r\n The students were filled with joy upon seeing the new additions to the library. Some expressed a little too much joy, they threw themselves on top of the beanbags, some of them still do this every time they come in to the library. The beanbags are also a favorite spot for them to sit during story times. The bookmarks are also a big hit and I have all the students using them. I find that this makes them keep the books longer because they don't suddenly lose their place and then subsequently lose interest in the book.\r\n\r\nThe globe is something that many students get very interested in and check on every now and then when they get curious about where certain countries could be or where they are in the world. I love that we're able to provide that resource for them whenever they ask for it. All the other materials help make the library a more organized and engaging place for our students. \r\n\r\nNone of this could've been possible without your help. With these dedicated reading spots, resources for learning and organization, I'm sure we'd be able to foster a love for reading and enjoyment for libraries with these children. From all of us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.","fullyFundedDate":1735331102080,"projectUrl":"project/build-our-dream-library-a-place-for-exp/8908941/","projectTitle":"Build Our Dream Library: A Place for Exploration and Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jenny","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9816836_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y80&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756305555076","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9816836"},{"teacherId":9816836,"projectId":8904664,"letterContent":"Happy New Year!\r\n\r\nI want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of social-emotional and diversity books to our school library. Your contribution has had a profound impact on our students, and I'd like to share just how meaningful your gift has been.\r\n\r\nThese books have become some of the most sought-after items in our library. They truly fly off the shelves, captivating young readers with stories that celebrate their unique identities and experiences. \r\n\r\nThe Little Spot of Emotion books in particular are very popular and are always borrowed out. These books help students who are just learning about how to be themselves and how to deal with their emotions and I love that they have these books to guide them.\r\n\r\nOne moment that stands out to me in particular: A little girl saw one of the books and with wide-eyed wonder, realized the main character looked just like her. She was so excited, she even did a little dance and then borrowed it immediately. Seeing her joy and recognition reminded me of the power of representation.\r\n\r\nYour support ensures that moments like this happen every day in our library. You are helping to shape a generation of compassionate, confident, and curious learners who see themselves in the pages of a book and are inspired to dream big.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of our students and staff, thank you for your kindness and vision.
