Even though the microscopes we originally requested were sold out, I was lucky enough to borrow some, and your donations provided us with beautiful microscope slide sets to explore. My students' faces lit up the first time they peered through the lenses—suddenly, wings, antennae, and even a butterfly leg became fascinating up-close worlds they had never imagined.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the slides, we received a Butterfly Pavilion, which has become the heart of our classroom. My students were thrilled to name each of our caterpillars (who are now pupas!) and eagerly observe and journal their changes every other day. This hands-on experience has deepened their understanding of life cycles and sparked meaningful conversations about how all living things grow and change.\r\n\r\nYour gift has not only given my learners the chance to be scientists, but it has also inspired curiosity, patience, and wonder. As we await the butterflies' emergence, my students are making predictions, recording careful observations, and learning the value of scientific exploration.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students this opportunity to see the world in a whole new way.","fullyFundedDate":1757542288012,"projectUrl":"project/little-scientists-exploring-the-world-t/9679770/","projectTitle":"Little Scientists: Exploring the World Through Microscopes","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Emfinger","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10099607_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757041141230","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10099607"},{"teacherId":9827377,"projectId":9225427,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for adding these books to our shelves! \r\nI started off by reading each one to the class and now they love to look through them on their own. The \"Girl Who Never Made Mistakes\" was such a cute and influential story for them. They loved our class discussion about how everyone makes mistakes but that's okay because it's how we learn. They loved talking about the different emotions she felt in the book and why. \r\nAnd of course, they always love Pete the Cat and his wild adventures. Those are always the first books they grab from the shelf.\r\nI can't wait to read the ABCs of Black History to them in the spring.","fullyFundedDate":1746786061575,"projectUrl":"project/fill-our-bookshelves/9225427/","projectTitle":"Fill Our Bookshelves","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Breyer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9827377_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y7&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1734717612718","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9827377"},{"teacherId":9827377,"projectId":8922265,"letterContent":"Our class was so excited to receive the donations.
