They have become so autonomous and know exactly where their supplies are and what they can use. \r\n\r\nWe have practiced sight words and math games, all in addition to their regularly scheduled curriculum. My students have been so excited to have some new items in the counseling office. I've already given out quite a few of the squishie mochis to students for prizes after group sessions. It's amazing how motivating those can be for the students to stay on task. It has also been nice to have some snack options available for when students are hungry and need a little something to help. \r\n\r\nThe students that have been able to use the new legos have been so excited. That was a big request that they had, and they've been having so much fun getting to use them. I've also given a few students the breathing strips to help them with deep breaths when they are escalated. The teachers have reported that they really like them and they're a big help.
