Thank you! for providing our classroom with such wonderful materials. The focus for this project was to create an engaging literacy classroom environment with many hands-on projects. The materials donated have provided us with that and much more, which includes organization and comfort. With the use of the All-Purpose Classroom Storage, students are able to recognize their names inside their cubbies while organizing their material boxes and completed work. They have a space to call their own where they can store their materials and take out what they need for the day. \r\n\r\nThank you for your dedication and donation to help continue our love for literacy, creativity and hands-on learning. We truly appreciate the materials that have been purchased with your donations. Our TK students were amazed when they saw the Comfy Book Nook. They use it everyday during their free choice time. Their love for reading has grown. They have such a comfortable space to enjoy books and write. The flex-space comfy floor seats provide students and teachers in the library area opportunities to enjoy books, have conversations and draw/write. These materials have provided my students with an area that feels like \"home.\" \r\n\r\nStudents demonstrated excitement when we received the materials and are enjoying using them in a meaningful and engaging way. The answer board supply center has provided us with a space to store our counters and boards to take out in the math center when needed or when children want to explore with numbers. Being able to walk over to the center and take the items students need to explore math has been amazing. They have become more independent and interested in numeracy.\r\n\r\nWe appreciate you and your generous donation. We have achieved this goal by your generous contributions to our classroom. We were able to add science materials where students are exploring items that sink or float. I have created a literacy center where students use lower and uppercase magnetic letters to write their names and try to spell out words reviewed in class. They are trying to write phonetically on the dry-erase boards and placing their work in organized storage trays.\r\n\r\nStudents are exploring with the use of every item that was donated. The dramatic play center has been enhanced with a table and chairs that provide students space to work on social skills, such as sharing a meal and having a conversation. Students are also working on math concepts by placing a specific number of place setting or utensils for students in that area. Students are able to clean up and organize food and other items with the use of the utility cart.\r\n\r\nI have been able to create an inviting classroom where students are ready to learn and grow. I thank you for that and my students are very grateful. Many of my students are bilingual, therefore seeing these Spanish posters all over the class helps them make that one to one connection between Spanish and English when it comes to learning about numbers, alphabet, seasons, animals, etc. It is so heartwarming being able to see how they go up to the posters and start counting all by themselves. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, using the laminator to keep these posters in great conditions has been amazing so that we can keep using them for many more years!\r\n\r\nThe students' favorite material has been the color pencils, for they have used them to bring their creative doodles to life.
