Their love of literature was expanded. \r\n\r\nThese books really did what I hoped would happened. It turned reading into excitement. Students couldn't wait to finish their work so they could read their new books. Students choose to read at indoor recess and during free choice. Because of your generosity, my students now have hands-on tools that make practicing speech sounds engaging, concrete, and confidence-building.\r\n\r\nThe handheld mirrors and mouth puppet allow students to see how sounds are formed, while articulation cards give them clear visuals and words to practice. Bingo chips and small bags are used as \"sound counters,\" helping students break words into individual sounds. Stretchy strings help them physically stretch and blend sounds together, and the mini magnetic boards give students a place to write and draw words as they practice.\r\n\r\nEach student's materials are kept in their own zipper pouch, creating a special speech articulation kit they can use during instruction and independent practice.
