Because all the students got to choose their topics and ha different videos they had to find, being able to have everyone use headphones to avoid overlap of sound was amazingly helpful. Our world has shifted so that much of the information students will be exposed to is going to be in a video format- giving that space and guidance in the classroom is essential for our students.\r\n\r\nOnce my students discovered the mice, it actually encouraged students who normally would lag behind or check out of lessons to get involved. I knew that the trackpads were a barrier to some, but I was astounded by how many students were positively impacted in a visible way in the classroom. Again, I cannot thank you enough!","fullyFundedDate":1740672369228,"projectUrl":"project/tech-tools-for-success-headphones-and-m/9127340/","projectTitle":"Tech Tools for Success: Headphones and Mice for Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. McCarty","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8541616"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_73646","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":870,"numTeachers":43,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":23,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":39,"percentIndigenous":5,"percentLatinx":18,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"20.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":74.2,"schoolId":73646,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Oroville High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Oroville High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/oroville-union-high-school-district/oroville-high-school/73646"}
