Right away, I began to announce and display the new additions to my students. It's something special to let the students know that they are the first to open and read them. \r\n\r\nI tried to curate these materials to promote literacy for some of my students that have lower reading levels. These text have introduced additional, fun dimensions to reading. With additional books, and when the students are reading, our work together has gotten little quieter--and usually thats a good. They smile and share what they are a reading. Our books all have AR tests so they really enjoy scoring well on these and collecting AR points\r\n\r\nThere has also been opportunities to read together, often out loud, and even though the students are a little older, they follow like as if they were picture books. So far, it's been cool to learn some designing skills, especially with the numerous student requests.
