I teach physical education at a K-8 school and we utilize your donations on a regular basis. First off one thing that I received was a medium sized white board. This may not seem big to most, but out in the physical education area we are teaching a lot of abstract activities that students have a hard time visualizing. The white board is a technology that we utilize to help students visualize activity areas, activities, and skills. This has shown major improvement in student overall understanding.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting for the students would probably be the block party xl speaker. Studies have shown that music enhances the physical education area for almost all students. This is no different for my class! Since introducing music to our lessons we have seen major improvement in attitude and participation. You can tell that the overall vibe is much improved when the music is included. Even when the music is not brought out it is very highly requested throughout the day!\r\n\r\nIn general, all students have warmed to the new technology! I have noticed that a lot of the ELL's really enjoy the white board being used because it is another form of communication. This helps them participate at a higher capacity in our PE activities! As stated before, Everyone loves all of the new technology because it improves our educational experience!
