Having extra tools such as stencils allowed some students who struggle with drawing realism an opportunity to use the stencils and learn about the properties of art such as color, lines, contrast and composition. \r\n\r\nIn December we will be begin using the motors for our engineering project which also includes reintroduces how lines and color affect composition in art. It is a challenge to attempt to do art with children when you do not have the proper tools to give everybody access to learning the concepts. They love sounding words out with the pop its more than tapping words out with their fingers. \r\n\r\nThe dominos have been so helpful in getting students used to centers and rotations as we now have enough domino games to provide several stations around the room. They always get excited to see which dominos they get to use first. All of these materials have made learning so much fun for everyone in our class.
