Students are able to build and create art without a prompt which promotes creativity, imagination, and the ability to make mistakes. \r\nThe students are ecstatic about the paint, board games, legos, and other supplies; as soon as the bell rings they are running to the room to begin the 15 minutes of play. These students are excited to have an opportunity to try new activities while at school or continue doing their favorite activity while at recess. This has opened up a safe space for students who are more inclined to stay indoors, prefer quiet spaces, and/or are looking to improve their social relationships. \r\nMy current project is creating take-home ornaments that have essential oil infused inside and personal coping skills written around it to remind them of self care over the holidays. \r\nWe couldn't be more grateful for the donations and ability to provide for our students.
