My students, who typically struggle to stay focused, where even the most engaged with these books and manipulatives. These items really helped my books come to life. The students significantly enjoyed being a part of the story by participating with the provided manipulatives that each story set provided. Additionally, the kit included fun interactive cards for after the story that my students also really enjoyed. These items provided way more then expected and my students and I enjoyed every part. I feel like i was able to promote a love for learning a little bit more. May favorite part was when students asks for another story kit the next day because they had so much fun the first few days. It was perfect that the donation provided 10 separate story kits. My sub even thought it was cool that i had them and enjoyed reading one to the students when i was out. She also commented how engaged the students were, compared to her past experiences in my classroom.
