Your generosity could not have come at a better time. As we prepare for what looks like a full week of rainstorms, your donations are already making a huge difference.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, I was able to create multiple sets of engaging activities, games, and hands-on fun that we've shared across different grade levels. Teachers now have ready-to-go options for those indoor recess days when we're stuck inside with limited space and energy to spare.\r\n\r\nInstead of defaulting to computers, our students are being encouraged to move, collaborate, think creatively, and stay active. The laughter and excitement as they've explored these new activities has been incredible. We've truly had a blast discovering all the different things we can do together indoors!\r\n\r\nYour support helps us turn what could be long, restless rainy days into joyful, memorable experiences for our students. I recently unpacked and organized all of the pajamas into a large tub, sorted by size and ready to go. It was such a joyful moment to see the variety of cozy, colorful sets knowing how many smiles they would bring.\r\n\r\nI announced to teachers that if they know of a child in need, they can send them over to choose a pair. Pajama Days are something we do often at our school, and they are always filled with excitement. After all, what child doesn't love the chance to come to school feeling warm, comfortable, and included?\r\n\r\nIn the past, I've had students share that they didn't wear pajamas in their home country and didn't have any here. Because of you, that no longer has to be a barrier. Just recently, a kindergarten student came to my room feeling sad because she thought she wouldn't be able to participate in Pajama Day. She left beaming with a cute set of her own.\r\n\r\nOne of my own students asked if she could have a pair as well. The next day she returned with her older sister and younger brother so they could each choose pajamas too. Then, with the sweetest smiles, they asked if they could take a pair for their toddler sister at home. Of course the answer was yes. Moments like these are exactly why your generosity matters so much.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has made it possible for every child to feel included, comfortable, and cared for. Sadly, my father passed away on December 1, 2025. While I always strive to meet commitments promptly, this period of time was difficult, and I truly regret the delay. Thank you for your patience and understanding.\r\n\r\nYour donations have already made a meaningful impact in our classroom. We received two HUGE!!! bean bag chairs, and a ton of books... Dragon Ball Z (Volumes 1, 2, 8, and 14, including \"It's Over 9,000!\" When Worldviews Collide), Crabgrass (Volumes 1 and 2), Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life, AWKWARD: The Social Dos and Don'ts of Being a Young Adult, Rolling Warrior, Story Keeping: The Night I Became a Hero, and even Skinny Pop! for the students. I am considering reading \"The Social Dos and Don'ts of Being a Young Adult\", as some of this year's students could benefit from the book's explicit illustrated tips for appropriate behavior in school and social settings. Especially since they will be in middle school next year!\r\n\r\nThe moment my students saw the books, their excitement was immediate—especially over the graphic novels. Students who are often reluctant readers eagerly signed up to read! They stayed engaged for the entire reading block.
