The TPT gift card had been amazing with helping me find super fun and engaging activities for my students. \r\n\r\nWe had some amazing gingerbread centers for the students to choose from. They had a detective center where they got to use a magnified glass to find the letter or number on a gumdrop and then write or cover it on a paper. \r\n\r\nWe had another gingerbread center where the students needed to use a flashlight to find lowercase, capital and numbers like magic. The cards answers are covered until you use the light. The students trace the textured letters to make a memory in their brain while they say the letter name and sound. The use of the art in the classroom has made learning more fun for our littlest learners. In our last unit of study we have been learning about farm animals, with the donated materials we have been able to make pigs, cows, sheep, and horse puppets with the colored construction paper along with tear art corn and farmers.
