That moment of excitement was just the beginning of the creativity and joy you've helped spark.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generous support, my students now have access to new watercolor sets, fresh brushes & sponges, toothy paper, and rich oil pastels. No more digging through murky bins trying to find the right shade of blue—we now have organized, complete sets that make creating art more accessible and fun.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest surprises has been the paint sticks. I had never used them before, and neither had my students. We were amazed by how smoothly they glide on paper—and even more impressed that they dry so quickly without any smearing. They've added a whole new layer of possibility to our projects.\r\n\r\nBut what we are most excited about are the brand-new skin-tone crayons. For the first time, all of my students can accurately represent themselves and their communities in their artwork. As an educator, I'm incredibly relieved and grateful to be able to give my students the tools to see themselves reflected in their own creations.\r\n\r\nArt is so much more than paint on paper—it's a way for students to express themselves when words aren't enough. It's also how they explore the world, connect with others, and find pride in who they are. Your donation has given them the tools to do just that.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our classroom and in the power of self-expression. From the very first day the materials arrived, the students' excitement was contagious. They immediately rushed to explore the sensory bins, dress-up clothes, and pretend play sets. One group created a \"grocery store,\" while others worked together to build stories in the sensory table with scoops, cups, and textured materials. It was incredible to see their imaginations and collaboration take off right away.\r\n\r\nThese resources have become a daily part of our classroom routine. The dramatic play area encourages role-playing and teamwork, while the sensory activities provide hands-on experiences that build fine motor skills and calm focus. I've watched students problem-solve, communicate, and practice sharing in ways that weren't possible before.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our classroom now has joyful, creative spaces where learning happens naturally through play.","fullyFundedDate":1746786476600,"projectUrl":"project/dramatic-and-sensory-play-resources-for/9246423/","projectTitle":"Dramatic and Sensory Play Resources for My New TK Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kylie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9583593"},{"teacherId":9583593,"projectId":9236101,"letterContent":"Our TK students are absolutely loving the new dramatic play toys! The very first day we introduced them, the room filled with excitement—students rushed to explore the kitchen set, pretend food, and costumes. One little group immediately set up a \"restaurant\" while others played \"family,\" taking turns cooking meals and caring for babies. It was amazing to see their imaginations come alive so quickly.\r\n\r\nThese resources are being used daily in our dramatic play center, and they've already sparked rich language development, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Students are learning how to share roles, negotiate play ideas, and use new vocabulary in authentic ways.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be integrating the dramatic play area into our classroom themes. For example, during our upcoming unit on community helpers, students will use the toys to act out jobs like chefs, firefighters, and shopkeepers. This hands-on play will deepen their understanding of real-world roles while making learning meaningful and fun.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our classroom now has a joyful, creative space where imagination and learning go hand in hand!","fullyFundedDate":1746786469595,"projectUrl":"project/help-my-tk-class-have-dramatic-play-toys/9236101/","projectTitle":"Help My Tk Class Have Dramatic Play Toys","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kylie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9583593"},{"teacherId":9583593,"projectId":9077821,"letterContent":"Our student are already loving the new flexible seating and bookshelves! One of my favorite moments was watching students eagerly explore the shelves on the very first day—they were so excited to find books organized neatly and easy to reach. Many of them immediately grabbed a book, found a cozy seat, and dove right in.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating has created a more comfortable, student-centered learning environment. Some students prefer working at low tables on cushions, while others like wobbly stools or floor spots with clipboards. It's been wonderful to see them take ownership of their learning space and make choices that help them focus and enjoy reading.","fullyFundedDate":1746786430379,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-and-new-bookshelves-for/9077821/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating And New Bookshelves For First Graders!!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kylie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9583593"},{"teacherId":5013835,"projectId":9562578,"letterContent":"THANK YOU again for your generous donation and support! We used the rug for role-playing activities where students took turns acting out greetings. Sitting together on the rug helped spark great conversations and peer collaboration—it really encouraged even the shyest students to participate.\r\n\r\nWhen the rug was first unrolled, there were gasps and cheers!
