The sensory materials give students opportunities to practice fine-motor skills, problem-solving, and self-regulation while having fun. One of my favorite moments has been watching students work together to explore the different toys, share materials, and talk about what they notice and feel.\r\n\r\nThey were so excited! The students immediately wanted to touch, explore, and try out the new sensory toys. They were especially excited to have new materials to investigate and enjoyed showing their friends how the different toys worked. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and excitement!\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue incorporating the sensory toys into our daily classroom routines and learning centers. We will encourage students to use the materials while practicing language, fine-motor skills, sharing, and problem-solving.
