Your kindness has truly made a difference in my space and in my student's lives.\r\n\r\nWhen the bean bag, oil diffuser, fidget toys, and stress balls arrived, many of my students that need support helped me unpack the materials and were excited to see what came for them. Many of them were excited because they felt like their space, where they are used to opening up about their behaviors and social-emotional need, was starting to feel more personal to them. The other students that I work with, started coming into the office space and were getting excited as they saw each thing that was sent out. Although, not all the students had a big reaction to what was now in the office, they all definitely shared with me that they were thankful for the materials.\r\n\r\nSome students take some time there to calm down, and reflecting becomes easier for them when they have a space they can call their own. I am really thankful for all your support and for allowing this to happen for my students! This really helped them realize that this space is not about them getting in trouble or being punitive, but it is a place of reflection and support. More students have also been inclined to come in and ask for support because they hear about the tools that are available in the space.\r\n\r\nYour donation wasn't just about buying supplies—it gave my students comfort, and an opportunity to feel safe in a place where they learn lifelong skills.
