Each student is trying to best to earn a prize. They especially love the squishies. \r\nIncentives are important for students because they increase motivation, promote positive behaviors and learning habits, foster self-esteem and confidence, and make learning more engaging. Rewards provide tangible or intangible benefits for achieving goals, which helps students to connect effort with positive outcomes, leading to better performance and a more positive attitude toward school. They were so happy to get away from the overstimulation of lunch time. Board games are being introduced during lunch as well. Sometimes the lunch chaos can be too much for some of my students.
