Growing their ability to share and explore together daily.\r\n\r\nIt was incredible to be able to surprise my students with these materials by building them essentially an outdoor classroom. The space is filled with laughter, joy, and enthusiasm. They enjoy building and taking risks in their designs. They're further developing their ability to collaborate, share and work on a common goal. It's been a great way to build community in our classroom. Currently we are using the magnetic tiles to explore concepts of measurement and using the scientific method to test out designs.\r\n My students were so excited to see the abundance of materials that arrived. They commented on how bright and beautiful and new everything is. They love the variety of materials they have to choose from. Additionally, they appreciate having access to enough materials so that everyone can participate at a given time. They look forward to using the magnetic tiles and supplemental tools daily.\r\n I look forward to incorporating magnetic tiles into our upcoming unit of study-Buildings where we will delve deeper into concepts of design, the science behind architecture and building structures.
