Thanks to your donations, our music program has undergone a complete transformation. The new laptops, microphone, and subwoofer you helped provide have turned my classroom into a space where creativity, confidence, and collaboration thrive. What was once a quiet classroom with limited tools is now buzzing with the sounds of students producing beats, recording their voices, and discovering the power of storytelling through music. \r\n\r\nOne student recently told me, \"This is the first time I've ever felt like my music matters.\" That comment meant the world to me, and it happened because people like you believed in our classroom. You didn't just fund technology; you invested in my students' ability to dream bigger and create fearlessly. Every day, I watch them walk into class excited to see what they can make next. \r\n\r\nOn behalf of my students and myself, thank you for helping us build something that goes far beyond a music lab. The vast majority of them loved the project. It was the first time all year that when anyone walked into my classroom, they were in awe at how engaged my students were. It was amazing how quiet my classroom was. The students were too busy to be bothered with anything.\r\n\r\nI had two female students who used to miss class on a regular basis. When we began this project, these two could not be stopped. Suddenly they were so engaged that hey would come to me at their 10 minute morning break and at lunch time and beg me to stay in the classroom and allow them to work on their jeans. \r\nYesterday, we had orientation at school and these two girls told me that are both signed up for my AP Art class and will be doing 15 jeans projects each for their AP exam portfolio. \r\n\r\nI really appreciate the support we received from \"Donor Choose\" donor and the Bezos Family Foundation.","fullyFundedDate":1747345059079,"projectUrl":"project/sel-self-identifying-blue-jeans-project/9349548/","projectTitle":"SEL Self Identifying Blue Jeans Project","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Judy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10012171_orig.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761851841632","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10012171"},{"teacherId":9434790,"projectId":9126681,"letterContent":"My students were currently exploring how to use classes and objects in order to structure data. The donated class incentives are used to increase class participation and to push learning. Students love getting rewarded after working so hard to learn difficult coding concepts. Each time they participate: answer questions, complete work, help each other out, and meet the class expectations, they get a chance to participate in the raffle at the end of class.\r\nWhen I informed my scholars about the donated incentives, they were thrilled and excited. Students have expressed that Computer Science class has become one of their top favorite classes this year. I have witnessed their enthusiasm to participate grow.\r\nMy scholars have also been exploring how to extract and manipulate data from web servers. Our students now eagerly look forward to computer science class, and their enthusiasm has translated into significant learning gains. The simple reward system you've helped establish has proven to be remarkably effective in motivating our students.\r\nThe positive energy in the classroom is palpable. Students who were previously hesitant to engage are now actively participating, asking questions, and helping their peers.
