With cold and flu season approaching, this has already made a big difference in helping students stay healthy. We were completely out of wipes and sanitizer, so your gift truly came at the perfect time. The students began using them the very day the supplies arrived!\r\n\r\n Now, before lunch, everyone sanitizes their hands, and we also use the hand wipes after art projects and science experiments. Since our classrooms don't have sinks, these wipes are incredibly helpful for quick cleanups. The tissues you provided are used daily as well, helping us limit the spread of germs and keep everyone feeling their best.\r\n\r\n You also made it possible for us to offer healthy snacks—something that made a huge impact during our recent i-Ready diagnostic testing. Some students come to school without eating breakfast or have to rush through it due to limited time at home. Thanks to you, I was able to give them a nutritious snack to help them focus on the test, rather than their hunger.","fullyFundedDate":1746677910836,"projectUrl":"project/support-healthy-student-success-donate/9121393/","projectTitle":"Support Healthy Student Success: Donate Snacks, Sanitizer, and Tissues!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Newby","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3042310_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1467249154171","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/miss-newby"},{"teacherId":3042310,"projectId":9121697,"letterContent":"In my classroom, reading is centered around student voice and choice, with a few simple guidelines to support growth. During independent reading time and early finisher periods, each 2nd-grade student selects five picture books and one chapter book that are a \"just-right\" fit—challenging enough to support progress but not so difficult that they become frustrated. Once a week, students refresh their book bags by choosing from our classroom library, which has been generously built through DonorsChoose projects. Throughout the day, they have multiple opportunities to dive into their self-selected books and enjoy the joy of reading.\r\n\r\n My 2nd graders are just beginning their journey into chapter books and have shown a strong interest in graphic novels. Some of their favorite series include Dog Man, Waffles and Pancakes, and Agent Moose. While we had the first book in several of these series, students eagerly asked for the next titles. When I shared that I had included their requests in a recent DonorsChoose project, they were thrilled—and even more excited when the project was funded and the new books arrived. Watching them open those packages and immediately start reading was a wonderful reminder of the power of student-driven learning and the joy that books bring.","fullyFundedDate":1746675375846,"projectUrl":"project/fueling-futures-with-books/9121697/","projectTitle":"Fueling Futures with Books","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Newby","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3042310_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1467249154171","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/miss-newby"},{"teacherId":9493886,"projectId":9171022,"letterContent":"We are incredibly grateful for your generous support that allowed us to fully fund our Manga Mania project!
