Your kindness and support have made it possible for us to purchase new whiteboards, phonics read aloud books, chart paper, and phonics posters to display in our room. These materials are already making a wonderful difference in our learning environment.\r\n\r\nOur students are so excited to use the new whiteboards during small group lessons and hands-on activities. The phonics books are helping them build stronger reading skills, and the chart paper has been perfect for creating anchor charts and recording our class learning. The phonics posters are now proudly displayed in our room, giving students a colorful and helpful reminder of the sounds and skills they are learning.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has truly helped us create a more engaging and supportive classroom. Having a wide variety of texts has allowed us to introduce important reading skills such as making inferences, identifying themes, and comparing perspectives across genres. Students are also learning how to cite evidence from the text to support their ideas something that strengthens both their comprehension and their confidence as readers.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading is an active, engaging process. Students are not only reading independently, but also participating in small group discussions, partner reading, and whole-class conversations where they share their thoughts and questions. The new books have made these moments richer because students are more invested in the material and eager to talk about what they're discovering.\r\n\r\nSeveral students, in particular, have found new favorites. One student who previously struggled to stay focused during independent reading has been captivated by one of the graphic novels, and now asks if he can read ahead. Another student, who often hesitated to share in discussions, is speaking up more because the stories connect with her own experiences.\r\n\r\nThese new texts have opened doors for our students not only in terms of skill development, but also in sparking a love of reading that will stay with them well beyond our classroom.
