They have made a world of difference in how our young learners build gross motor skills, coordination, balance and spatial awareness. I used it along with a writing lesson on How to use Hula Hoops. Then we demonstrated each of their ideas. \r\nWe used the Hula Hoops in a variety of ways during PE and in the classroom by spinning, jumping in and out, rolling, creating obstacle courses and playing team or group games. My students along with the rest of second grade are excited to use the hula hoops. These activities support not just social skills, but also physical health, focus and self- confidence. Most of all they are fun and they can't wait to use them again.\r\nThank you from the bottom or our hearts. We just received the dot markers and clay, and will use both to integrate art into math when students begin building models for multiplication.
