The children were so excited when they saw it! It is a beautiful, blue, round carpet with both the letters of the alphabet and numbers on it to help us learn. \r\n\r\nWe have been using the carpet as a place to sit during story time and for class discussions. In addition, we have done some calendar activities there and played a couple of games using the actual letters and the numbers on the carpet itself. The children absolutely love it. It is beautiful and functional and we feel very fortunate to have received it.\r\n\r\nAnother thing I really love about having the new carpet is the children are being very careful with it. They are doing their very best to keep it clean and new looking and I really am thankful for their thoughtfulness and care. It also lets me know that they really value it. Our old carpet was in such poor condition that we had to throw it away, so having this new carpet really has been incredible.
