As a new teacher, I am only allocated the very basics for the classroom--desks, chairs, pencils, one box of crayons, one box of markers and some other basic supplies. As a self-contained special education class, basics are just not enough for an effective environment. In addition, I am tasked to put together an individualized curriculum for each student with very few instructional materials to work with at the start.\r\n\r\nYour donation has really helped with the basic needs to for my classroom and kickstart the year with less stress. The wobble pillows provide for sensory needs of many of my students. The 10 frames are helpful for my students to use tactile materials to learn, marker holder just to keep my white board free from clutter, and most importantly, the Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift cards. The materials I have been able to purchase from TPT have been an absolute lifesaver. My students academic abilities range from Kindergarten to Grade 6 so TPT allows me to find instructional material spanning all the grade levels. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your support.
