One student who usually struggles with writing worked diligently for thirty minutes straight and proudly earned a squishy for her focus!\r\n\r\nNext, our young authors will draft, edit, and publish personal stories in their journals to share during a special \"Author's Chair\" showcase. This is definitely a scientific endeavor I will try again over the summer to see if I can adapt parts of this project to make it more successful. This is an important part of learning, too, and I am thrilled that our students were able to see what worked and what could use some improvement!
