The new resources have already made a noticeable difference in our daily learning. The kick bands have especially supported students who have a hard time sitting still—during reading and math rotations, I've seen a huge improvement in their ability to stay focused and complete their tasks. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who normally struggles during independent work stay engaged the entire time simply because he could move his feet while working. Our new math games have also become a class favorite. Students are excited to practice their skills through hands-on activities.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the treasure box prizes and all the new supplies, their excitement filled the room. They immediately began talking about what they hoped to earn and how they could work hard to reach their goals. The prizes have boosted motivation, and the added supplies ensure everyone has what they need for class projects and daily assignments. Meanwhile, the math games have helped build cooperative learning and confidence—students cheer each other on while developing stronger foundational skills.\r\n\r\nThese materials have brought joy, motivation, and structure to our classroom, and your generosity continues to help my students feel successful every day. Thank you for giving them the tools that truly make a difference.","fullyFundedDate":1757547519923,"projectUrl":"project/first-year-teacher/9353057/","projectTitle":"First Year Teacher","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Arredondo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10034842"},{"teacherId":9611710,"projectId":8525385,"letterContent":"The students are using the new bookshelf to access books that interest them whenever they complete their work. They absolutely love having the freedom to choose their own books and a designated space to enjoy them! When they first saw the bookshelf, they were SO excited and shouted, \"We have our own library?!\" It's now a favorite part of our classroom and a real motivation for getting their work done.\r\n\r\nWhen the students received their own headphones, they were just as thrilled. Many didn't have working headphones before or used some with exposed wires that were very finnicky, so being able to use a reliable pair for independent work and testing has made a huge difference in their focus and confidence.\r\n\r\nMost recently, during our unit on how things are built, students were excited to choose a bridge they had read and learned about, form groups, and work together to build it using the STEM kit you donated. It was amazing to see them apply what they learned in such a hands-on and collaborative way.\r\n\r\nWe truly appreciate your generous donation. It has added so much value to our classroom and enriched the students' learning experiences in meaningful and lasting ways.
