I hope to continue this motivation for every month so students can look forward to it and participate in class more. Thanks so much for funding my project. Your support helped foster questions, creativity, and independent exploration with light. We used the string lights to show emotion, seasons, and how light is so important to us. Students even began asking questions about the sun, moon, and stars and what caused them to light up. Every day, they were eager to see what color the lights were. The batteries filled the flashlights I had tucked away and could finally use. Students loved making shadow puppets with them, and shining lights on letters, and pictures in book in our classroom libraries. \r\n \r\nStudents also used the translucent click builders and the translucent blocks to build and explore with shining lights through them. They have come up with endless ideas to use these materials.
