The students have been so excited with the variety of options and levels that were donated. From graphic novels to more challenging books like Harry Potter, my class is falling more in love with reading every day.\r\n\r\nThis year we have a challenge to read 300 books as a class of 26. We have already completed 24 books and it's only the start of the school year. They have really appreciated the variety of NEW books as many of the books in the class were very outdated, hand-me-downs that just didn't grasp their attention. I am excited to see their love for reading soar this year and it would not be possible with out this amazing donation!\r\n\r\nAgain, I cannot say thank you enough for this wonderful donation!","fullyFundedDate":1750437211683,"projectUrl":"project/a-diary-of-diverse-readers/9397676/","projectTitle":"A Diary of Diverse Readers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Aguilar","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6729169"},{"teacherId":4236710,"projectId":9306921,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom project! Because of you, our students now have access to engaging, diverse, and exciting new books that are already making a difference.\r\n\r\nWhen our students saw the new collection, their faces lit up with excitement. They eagerly started exploring the shelves, flipping through pages, and recommending books to their classmates. For many of them, these are the very first books that truly reflect their interests and experiences. The stories are helping them see themselves as readers, sparking curiosity, and encouraging a love of learning.\r\n\r\nAlready, we've noticed students choosing to read during free time, sharing their favorite parts during class discussions, and even asking to borrow books to take home. The gift of choice, variety, and representation in literature has turned reading into something joyful, not just something required.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has not just filled our shelves—you've inspired lifelong readers. They have all grown so much and at this point in the year they won't put the books down! With the wide variety of books that are now in my classroom library, I am able to connect students with ones they are interested in. Every student of mine has loved and cared for the books that we have received!\r\nReading is a huge part of our classroom. Students each have one book that they are consistently reading. Every night their homework is to read for 30 minutes or meet the goal that I set for them. Most of my students pass their goal and read 30–50 pages every single night! Not only that, my students read their books during class every chance they can get. For example, when they are waiting for me to put up the slides for the next lesson, if I need to speak to a guest or another student, the students will open their books and read. Every morning, the students line up, and I meet with every one of them at a time to listen and ensure they are reading. My students are now excited to read and come every morning ready to share!","fullyFundedDate":1732478766596,"projectUrl":"project/a-library-for-every-learner/8955584/","projectTitle":"A Library for Every Learner!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ramirez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9843635_orig.jpg?crop=1527,1527,x1270,y1285&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732119134522","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9843635"},{"teacherId":9432084,"projectId":8671899,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your incredibly generous donations.
